You’d think…..

You’d think that like they used to, before the coalition, the LibDem Reps. would back Labour, over an extreme right wing Tory Government.

In September 2016, Jeremy Corbyn said it was “really sad” that Labour
was “the only political party that’s ever had a statement of general anti-racism”.

The Conservative and SNP constitutions make no mention of racism or other forms of discrimination.

The Lib Dems’ membership code doesn’t explicitly mention race, antisemitism or
Islamophobia it however does encourage members to consider a
“checklist of questions you should ask yourself as you act internally or externally”

I wonder what has happened, as whether or not you agree with me,
I personally, as a working class woman, cannot & do not, trust the LibDems as a party any more. They seem to care for nothing, but self gratification.

>told you….

>Sorry just had to type the “told you” title. Hung Parliment & no they cant organise a piss up in a brewery. 🙂 Still, it is a rather interesting situation we find ourselves in. So I suppose the real question is…What are the political elite going to do. There are obviously three choices at play.
1) The Tories have a minority Government.
2) Con/Lib Government
3) Lab/Lib Government.

Whatever they choose, I think it cannot be ignored that it seems the British public quite possibly hold all of them in contempt, also, it would seem that there isnt really much difference With regards to Gordon, David or Nick’s personalities. They all look weak quite frankly.

Voters have shown that they are tired of same old party politics & politicians. Who’s ego’s & kissing up to global corparations at our cost, is no longer acceptable.

So, I propose that the question for us Plebs is this. If the political elite choose amongst themselves who will run the country & how they will run it. Will we step back & see if they will act on for the wellbeing of all sections of the British population, if so we then leave them to get on with things. Or will it be a case that they choose amongst themselves these things & carry on using us plebs as piggybanks for political & corporate elites. If so, will we sigh & just say same old & do nothing. Or will we, the common people actively get further involved in the way our country is run, even if that means protesting in the streets?

As I have said, the current situation is rather interesting. I only hope we the people dont loose interest & hold TPTB to account & demand change for the better & that we all take responsibility for it.

>Hung Parliment?

>Well, looks like we are heading for a hung Parliament, Which could be interesting, though lets face it, none of the parties could organise a piss up in a Brewery…another election in 4 weeks ??? I think its highly unlikely, Tory boy will sneak into no. 10 with his minority Government & will no probably be remembered as a wet blanket of a PM, or a complete nasty little shit.
Rather disgusted to hear of people not being able to vote!!! Disgusting display of incompetence…..I myself voted early tf. Polling stations running out of ballot papers, not enough staff to make sure things run smoothly. Shocking for a western democracy? Or is this kind of thing about to become a regular occurrence in our elections?
Feel for the Liberals, I think in the end, people panicked & resorted to two party tribal politics. Have to say though, has been the most interesting General Election in years.

>Wake up time for the British Hairless Apes…

>Well finally a date has been set for the UK General Elections..May 6th 2010. So far on this the first day of campaigning all I have seen is politicians evade questions & continually quote soundbites. Let us hope things improve. I shall be blogging more on this subject over the next month & looking into what the Politicians/Parties are offering. Thats if they can stop being evasive, twittering, youtubing, soundbiting, & manage to string more than two sentences together in a coherent manner…..
….watch this space.
